Harstra instruments manufacturer from drying cabinets of breathing masks /face pieces for many years now,
has developed and  produced an entirely new type of drying cabinet especially for the save drying of clothes.

The drying cabinets are extremely maintenance-friendly and hygienic in use.
The life cycle of the heating element is lengthened and the maintenance costs kept very low due to the
fact that the heating element is controlled by a solid state relay(without any mechanical components

ADVANTAGES COMPARED TO OTHER DRYING CABINETS:

In 1995, this cabinet was replaced by the M 18 and M 45 models which are a different shape, have a modern design, and have a fully automatic drying facility.

The great advantage of this drying cabinet is that it dries fully automatically, irrespective of whether 1 or 45 masks are in it. 
The electronics in combination with the software determine when the masks are dry and at that moment the machine switches off automatically.

If you wish to dry on a time basis, i.e. a shorter or longer period, it is possible to set the time between 1 minute and 100 hours.
During development, we opted for a low temperature with a large air vortex in the cabinet.
(This was because a higher temperature damages the masks). This drying cabinet has an energy saving capacity of approx.
80-90% in respect of existing models, which use a system of air suction,
heating the air by blowing it through the cabinet and then expelling it.

Our cabinet works differently: the warm air re-circulates in the cabinet, while the damp air leaves the cabinet via the top.
This air does not need to be expelled.
The new drying cabinets are provided both internally and externally with Metalco steel (thermo galvanized steel).
The RAL 9016 paint coating is scratch free and applied electro statically by means of a structure powder.
After that it is heated in a furnace causing the powder to melt on the galvanized steel.

There is an optimal heat insulation with a minimum thickness of 30 mm between the inside and outside walls.
This has the additional advantage that the cabinet is also user-friendly as far as the noise level is concerned.

In the M 18 model, 2 stainless steel wire baskets are supplied as standard, and in the M 45 model,
5 Underneath the cabinet a polished stainless steel drip tray is installed.
The strong insulating door with magnetic tape closure provides for sound sealing of the unit,
while the inside of the door is made of polished stainless steel.

Four solid adjustable supports provide for the stability of the cabinet.

F12     

For professional drying of C.A.B.A we have manufactured a drying cabinet,
designed for drying of breathing masks after using the cleansing machine Wash4.

The market asked for a larger drying cabinet and easier manned than the M45(B).
After a while of research and testing we are convinced we’ve succeeded with the drying cabinet F12.

Similar to our other drying cabinets for C.A.B.A and clothing, this cabinet also has the big advantage of fully automatically drying,
whether there are one or more C.A.B.A in the machine.
De electrics in combination with the software decide when the equipment is dry and will stop automatically.

The new drying cabinets are made of stainless steel intern as well extern.

Delivered with the F12 are 1 stainless steel roll-in trolley. This trolley has 2 x 6 hooks for 12 C.A.B.A

At the bottom of the cabinet there’s a stainless steel plate where on the dripping water is,
to be drained to a vaporising basket, behind the inner cabinet.

Two robust doors are well isolated and a magnetic tape closure provides sound sealing of the cabinet.
The panel is placed on the right door.

It is necessary to place the cabinet on a flat and horizontal ground.

K3 / K6 / K10

We have three models clothes drying cabinets, type K 3 , K6 and K 10.

In type K3 there is place to dry 3 coats/ trousers on the stainless steel rod and has an internal dimension of 140 cm. high.

In type K10 there is place to dry 10 coats or 5 suits/ overalls, this drying cabinet will be delivered with two stainless steel rods,
internal 210 cm. high.

In type K6 there is place to dry approx. 6-9 coats/trousers on the stainless steel rod.

- A stainless steel support frame, where the Wash 9 can be placed for a ergonomically fit position of the user.

  The room beneath the machine frame can be use as a storage room for the cleansing liquid.

Our cleansing machines are perfectly fit for cleaning of breathing masks with or without cylinders.
A cleaner based on a product which is liquid ,mildly alkaline and phosphate and chlorine-free and a neutralizing agent
(based on citric acid) in combination with our machines take care of a quick, optimal and safe cleaning of your product.
All our cleansing machines are made of stainless steel.

The cleansing machine Wash 9 is ideally suited for the safe cleansing of breathing masks/face pieces.
This takes place in combination with a cleanser based on a product which is liquid,
mildly alkaline and phosphate and chlorine-free, while the neutralizing agent
applied after the rinsing agent) is based on citric acid.

The cleansing machine is very compactly build in order to occupy as little space as possible.

It is made entirely of stainless steel type 304 and is insulated against heat loss and noise emission.

In order to be able to cleanse the inside of the machine properly and easily,

all corners are rounded and there

are no sharp objects. Also the rotating stainless steel washing and rinsing arms with sprayers and the stainless

steel sieve are easily removed.

The controls have been kept extremely simple, by applying a single rotator type knob.                                                                          

Two large temperature gauges have been mounted in order to control the machine, one for the tank and one for the boiler.  

The cleansing agent is dosed very precisely via a tube pump. This pump is driven and controlled by a printed

circuit board. It is also possible to alter the settings after the process has been started.

The neutralizing agent is processed in the same way but with its own pump.

The machine has a low consumption of both water and electricity since the warm water of each rinsing is used

and only the after-rinse is done with clean water from the boiler. This achieves a water consumption of approx.

4 liters per cycle while the dirtiest water is removed. If required, it is possible to directly connect the machine

to the warm water pipes (50 - 60 °C.).

After the final rinse, you switch on the water removal pump in order to empty the tank.

With the cleansing machine, a stainless steel wire basket is supplied as standard. This basket also fits the M 18

and M 45 models drying cabinets.

Four types of stainless steel fine mesh baskets for small components are supplied as accessories, as is a

stainless steel support frame on which the machine can stand in order to achieve a better ergonomic position

for the person operating it.

WASH 4         

This cleansing machine is specially manufactured for professional cleaning of breathing masks
with cylinders or 2 x 9 breathing masks. These will be cleaned by nozzles.
This machine has admirable circulation pumps and installable dosage pumps for the cleaning- and neutralization liquid. 
Fabricated with an easy and simple manned with three standard cleansing programs.
The machine is secured for improper usage.
The door for example, has to be closed and the temperature has to have the right value,
otherwise the machine won't get started. The breathing mask with cylinders will be placed on the frame,
outside the machine and will be rolled in afterwards.

After 22 minutes of recommended cleaning, the breathing masks and cylinders can be separated
for drying of the breathing masks. It is recommended to do this with the specially manufactured  drying cabinet F12,
with the belonging roll-in trolley.

If preferred, it is possible to place 2 steel wire baskets with can fit 9 breathing masks for cleaning in the same machine.
These Baskets can be placed on an other trolley, what makes it possible to dry the breathing masks in the drying cabinet F12.
